Lori Scharf is an inspired glass artist who has been working in fused or kiln-formed glass since 2003.
She has studied with many talented glass artists including Kerry Transtrum, Craig Mitchell Smith, Ian Chadwick, Phil Teefy, Jayne Persico, Michael Dupille, Bob Leatherbarrow to name a few.
She has received numerous awards and honors at glass shows, including Best of Show for Body of Work, Juror's Choice Awards, First Place Award and Best of Show Award in Fused Glass at the Red Butte Garden Gathering of Glass, among many others.

Lori earned her degree as a structural engineer and then followed in her father's footsteps into a successful career with the Federal Aviation Administration.
She learned about local fused glass classes from a friend and started studying with Kerry Transtrum of Glassfire Studio. She has continued to learn and study with many different glass artists.
Lori enjoys learning and creating unique art pieces. She likes donating her works of art for fundraisers.
